I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I have tried every fad diet out there. I joined those franchise gyms. Nothing worked! Anytime I did lose, I seemed to put it right back on plus a whole lot more. I was tired all the time, unmotivated to do anything and my knees started giving me trouble. I decided one day that was enough. I began my journey of weight loss and fitness. I will not lie, it was a struggle. I cried, I swore, I fell off the program, but the difference is I got right back in it. Something I never did before. I wasn’t going to wait until Monday to start my diet again.
Through this journey I had a trainer who believed in me…saw my potential and wouldn’t give up on me. That was the difference. I wanted this and he knew it and he wouldn’t let fail. As I lost weight I fell in love with fitness and became a personal trainer and a weight loss specialist. I’ve learned the importance in the balance of nutrition and fitness and how both are vital in becoming strong and healthy. It has been over 4 years now….. 100+ pound transformation and the knowledge of what I learned through this journey. With each pound lost I gained more self esteem and confidence and began to love myself again! Something I haven’t felt in a long time.
